RELIEF FUND FOR UNPAID TEACHING ARTISTS
Donation protected
We are a group of dedicated art instructors who have poured our hearts, creativity, and energy into uplifting students through the arts. For us, teaching is more than a job, it’s a calling, a way to inspire hope, build confidence, and provide young people with the tools to express themselves in a world that often tries to silence them.
But despite fulfilling our roles with passion and consistency, our work has gone unpaid leaving us collectively owed a significant amount of earned income, placing a heavy burden on our livelihoods, our families, and our ability to continue serving the students who need us most.
The RELIEF FUND FOR UNPAID TEACHING ARTISTS was created to provide immediate support for those of us caught in this hardship, and just as importantly, to shine a light on the unjust practices that have gone unchecked for too long. This is about more than missed paychecks—it’s about standing together to demand accountability and ensure that no other teaching artist has to endure what we’ve been through.
Your support helps in two powerful ways:
It provides urgent financial relief to teaching artists who have been denied the income they rightfully earned.
It fuels a movement for fairness, transparency, and respect, sending a clear message that the exploitation of teaching artists will no longer be tolerated.
