Closures due to the current global pandemic have hit AIM at one of our busiest times of the year, which typically generates the profit needed to get us through the costs for the summer when we are significantly slower. With the uncertainty surrounding the Annual Recital and the lack of on-going enrollment through the end of our Spring session, we cannot predict what will happen next. We have gone to an online format, but the lack of our annual show, and the inability to have summer camps has really hurt us. We have had to furlough some staff, and reorganize what has been a constant for the past 13 years. AIM is doing its best to keep the sparkle shining and the music playing, all the while hoping we can make it through this, but as a small business, this is a frightening time.
We are looking for any help we can get to help us stay afloat for the next six months. Unfortunately we have not received any aid thus far, and no matter what changes are being made now, there is no guarantee we will be able to keep the doors open, the music playing, or the dancers shining after all of this is over.
Your support will directly benefit the AIM staff, studio space, and future programs.
We understand that many are experiencing financial and personal hardships at this time and appreciate any and all support.
