“Art for Assistants” is a campaign to raise funds for photography assistants who have been out of work for nearly 2 months during this Corona Virus crisis. Most people outside the commercial photography industry do not realize that when the Corona Virus hit, the entire commercial photography industry shut down—not "a few jobs here or there are being shot" but an absolute stand still. So, when commercial photographers are not working then, of course, the photo assistants are not working. The photo assistants have had zero income for nearly 2 months. Usually the photo assistant is the one supporting and making the photographer look like a rock star at the end of each day. While the world works to heal itself and take on this tragedy headfirst, we want to make sure we are supporting those who always support us. 

For a donation of $100 or more, we will ship you one of Dana Neibert's "Shiprock" prints. The prints are 11x14" and will be a part of a limited edition of 100 prints (signed and numbered). "Shiprock" will only be printed and editioned here and then never printed again. And, of course, donations of any size are welcome and appreciated.

One hundred percent of proceeds from the sale of these prints (with an exception of the 3% that goes to GoFundMe) will go to cover the living expenses of these photo assistants who no longer have the opportunity to work due to the Corona Virus. “Art for Assistants” will mobilize the world’s greatest image-makers to sell limited edition prints in order to raise money for all the assistants heavily impacted by the lack of work during this time.
