Parent-Teacher Meeting - The Summit & Exhibit
Donation protected
Your donations help us give back to our community by supporting non-profit organizations as well as bringing enriched creative events that ignite awareness and fights for our youth. At this time, a percentage of all proceeds will benefit HOPE Murals.
We all know how environment plays a major role in a child’s development and we as adults are the ones responsible for creating that optimal habitat so our goal with this and future exhibits is to create a space, an opportunity and an experience for people from all walks of life to not only reflect upon but also to be inspired by.
WHAT IS THE PARENT-TEACHER MEETING EXHIBIT?
The Parent-Teacher Meeting is an ART-ivist movement looking to raise awareness in some of the challenges the educational system faces and how it directly affects our youth. It also aspires to re-ignite the dreamer and go-getter within each individual no matter their age, gender, social status or level of education.
In a culturally stigmatized society where academic enrollment holds an indispensable value, it is important to remind everyone that with dedication and hard work all dreams are possible.
Across the globe, visionaries, leaders, artists and entrepreneurs with some, little or no education have impacted our world in ways they only imagined possible. It is our responsibility to harvest these talents within the system and provide children as well as people worldwide with the necessary tools to create the life of their dreams.
The exhibit presents its attendees with a panel style Summit discussion in which speakers from different community related organizations get to share and discuss topics relating to the subject matter. The exhibit also presents an experiential gallery walk that harnesses the power of art and creativity as a voice, in order to challenge people's realities and perhaps ignite an inner desire to over-achieve.
