This two part donation is to help me fund my upcoming art show, as well as top surgery recovery!

 

What's going on! I'm Logan and I am putting out this video to ask for a donation. This is a two-fold donation, so the first part is I'm going to host my first solo art show at the end of this year, and I'm going to be putting out paintings that I've been working on for the past few months. And I'm gonna be putting out some older paintings, as well as prints and showcasing all of those things I've been working really hard on during the COVID period as wells in recent months. I've been doing a lot painting and a lot of artwork, and I'm really excited to show that!

And then the other part is equally exciting! I have gotten approved for top surgery, and my date is set! I have my letter, I've been approved, everything is good to go! I just am going to definitely be needing some financial help during the recovery period.

So I'm asking for $3,000, which sounds like a lot, but all of the funds are going (for the art show) to art supplies that I'll be using as I continue to paint and get everything ready for that. It's going toward the venue and other fees that are accruing with that.

And then with the top surgery, I'm gonna be using the funds during the recovery period for medication, any type of bandages or compression vest anything that they require that is not covered for the procedure. And funds are gonna be going towards rent and utilities so that I can support my family while I'm recovering and I'm not at work.

So yeah! This 2021 year has been one of the hardest years of my life. Since April I've been emotionally, and just mentally completely drained. On top of that, losing my grandmother just has made this year extremely difficult.

I say all that to say my goal is to raise this money, or at least get close to raising the goal amount to bring this very difficult year to a close and end on a positive note. I'm turning 30 this year. This is a tremendous turning point in my life, and anything you all can donate or give is much much appreciated. I know it sounds cliché to say that "any amount counts", but when you're starting from zero, literally any $ counts!
