Art Action Kits for families living with COVID-19

Donate a kit for $90 - or any amount you can!

Right now families in Gadigal and Wangal Country are doing it tough. The COVID-19 pandemic has hit these families hard. With at least 50 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families already affected, a surge in numbers will see this figure grow exponentially.

 

To provide relief for the younger members of our community - and especially during the school holidays - we aim to provide free Art Action Kits to each of these families and with your help make more kits to meet demand. We’ve estimated 100 kits all up, but hope to be able to provide as many as needed.

 

The Art Action Kits are a ‘one size fits all’ for a range of ages and include a paint set, colour and drawing pencils sets, watercolours, visual art diaries, paint brushes, textas etc! There’s also an art activity by Daniel Boyd included.

 

We are working with the deadly mob at First Nations COVID-19 Inner West/Eastern Suburbs Response Group in Marrickville to assemble and distribute the kits.
