When scum of the earth petrol bomb your home

Here's our story.It was the 11th of July 2023 my son was supposed to be enjoying his last 2 weeks at primary school. It was 3.00 in the morning my dog barking woke me up I could smell the smoke I could see our front door and my car was on fire. I shouted at my son we need to get out of here it's on fire. He grabbed our smaller dog and we made our way to the shed. Our bigger dog was too scared to go past it so she stayed upstairs she would not come down, the fireman found her curled up on my bed, luckily she was fine. We had lived here for 9 years.

There was damage to the house, my car and some furniture and clothes that you could not get that smell of stale black smoke out of.

Luckily no one was hurt and we have our big dog lacie to thank for that she saved our lives. It was a devastating event more so for my son. What sort of scumbags set fire to a house and car knowing there is a child in the house that is not something I can ever comprehend.
