Arroyo Family Needs Your Support
Hello everyone! I'm writing this because the Arroyo family needs some help. On Monday June 9th my husband went to Urgent Care after work due to his legs and hands and stomach being severely swollen. We had no idea that after multiple testing that we would be told my husband suffered a heart attack in the last 2 to 3 weeks. He had no idea that the symptoms he was experiencing the past few weeks (lightheaded, dizziness, swelling and shortness of breath) was due to this heart attack. He just thought it was side affects of his diabetes medicine. Unfortunately he was admitted into the hospital that night and has now had 2 blood transfusions due to his hemoglobin levels dropping to 6.1. He will eventually need a colonscopy done. The doctors main concern is he is still a bit swollen with fluid around his heart. His kidneys aren't functioning well and they need to go in to do a biopsy due to his lymph nodes being severely enlarged. With all of that happening and him being out of work until he gets better my job has closed temporarily for remodeling and won't be back open until July 1st! I'm currently at home with our 3 babies trying to hold the household down but with no income I need help paying this month's bills. I'm only asking because his last check of the month will only be for 1 week worth of work and my check will be only 8 1/2 hours due to me not being able to work this last week before temporarily closing. Anything helps. Truly anything. Even a share. A prayer. It goes a long way in our household. Thank you so much everyone. God bless.
Update - My husband must get a biopsy done to make sure that there's no cancer in his blood or bones.
Update - My husband is pending results on his biopsy he had done yesterday afternoon. His blood levels are starting to look good. However there's still quite a bit of fluid built up in him still and until he is off the IV medication to reduce the fluid he will continue to be hospitalized. This will mean financially we will be struggling until he gets out. We were told that he won't be restricted from his job and will be able to return back once he gets out due to his job not being hard for him to do. He must follow up with specialists and I will be in the works of starting to schedule appointments for him.
Update - A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR STANDING BY MY SIDE THIS ROUGH WEEK! IT HAS BEEN A VERY SCARY AND CHALLENGING TIME! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE RIDES, CHECK INS, PRAYERS, DONATIONS TO GET US THROUGH THE MONTH OF BILLS, HELP WITH THE KIDS IN ANY WAY. TRULY GRATEFUL THAT I HAVE SUCH A HUGE SUPPORT SYSTEM. SO MANY PEOPLE MADE SURE I MYSELF WAS DOING OKAY MENTALLY. MY HUSBAND WILL BE HOME AT SOME POINT TODAY. HE ISN'T OUT OF THE WOODS JUST YET. THERE'S SO MANY FOLLOW UPS WITH SPECIALISTS AND HE NEEDS TO MAKE DRASTIC CHANGES IN HIS LIFESTYLE. BIOPSY RESULTS ARE PENDING STILL SO WE WILL PATIENTLY WAIT FOR THOSE RESULTS. IN THE MEANTIME PLEASE PRAY FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER IN YOUR LIVES. THE PRAYERS HAVE BEEN TRULY GETTING ME BY. I EVEN HAD A FEW PEOPLE PRAY OVER ME THIS WEEK AND I'M GRATEFUL FOR THAT.
