Aaron Hinttala Fight against MND and Road To Recovery

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers.

Our dear mate, Aaron Hinttala, devoted husband, and proud father of two little legends is currently navigating the hardest challenge of life and we are reaching out to share his story and his battle of his recent diagnosis - Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

A terminal illness with no cure.

For those fortunate enough to have Azza in their life, they would know of Azza’s ability to make you feel good about yourself no matter the circumstances. His glass is always half full.

Azza is the most humble, kind and gentle soul to the earth kind of guy you can get. He has an adventurous spirit and a love for the ocean, surfing and to conserve the environment. His continued positivity and uplifting attitude about life, especially when the chips are down, is something which most people strive to achieve, however, for our mate Azza this comes so naturally. Azza is someone you gravitate toward in any scenario because you're guaranteed to feel relaxed and happy in his presence.

He is a true member of the community and would give the shirt off his back if anyone ever asked, his compassion and care for those around him is admirable.

Azza is always first to provide support for others whenever they need it, Aussie mateship is in his DNA, now it’s time when that support is needed to be sent his way.

In December 2024, Azza was diagnosed with MND. The prognosis is daunting but despite this, Azza is determined to explore every possible avenue for treatment that may improve his chances of prolonging life.

**The Challenge Ahead**

Head MND Dr. has advised Azza there is no point pursuing any further treatments in Australia and that NDIS will send help immediately. This does not sit right with Azza, as when your glass is always half full you are going to keep researching and believing. Unfortunately, Azza has been left with no other option but to travel the world and keep searching for the miracle cure. If anyone can do it, it’s Azza.

The urgency of Azza’s situation cannot be overstated; Azza cannot afford to waste time on therapies / treatments that have already been proven ineffective.

Azza needs this chance at finding the miracle NOW.

Azza’s journey needs to start now as this neurodegeneration disease is slowly taking over his body as we speak.
