Hi everyone, as most of you know Arron has been struggling with a cancer called Acute Myeloid Leukemia which is an aggressive blood cancer. He was in remission from treatment with chemotherapy but not for long. It came back more aggressive Christmas time and was told just under a month ago that chemotherapy was no longer working. Therefore it would be palliative care going forward. Imagine hearing this news at 42 years old. His consultant suggested a trial drug called Ventovlax which is not funded by the NHS. He has been on it just under a month and it’s working it has taken the disease to 10% his last biopsy showed it was still in his system at 36% he was able to fund the first treatment through family. His consultant has confirmed they need to get it under 5% to then they can get him a transplant which he has a match for. We need to help him raise money for a further two months of treatment which is £3,500. The transplant will give him someone else’s immune system basically. The Venetolax is killing the cancer at a fast rate, it acts differently to chemotherapy it’s an immunotherapy. We need to give this man a chance, he has a lovely family, lovely girlfriend and a daughter to go home to and deserves to live his life. Please can I ask you all to share this far and wide and donate what you can. If you can’t afford to donate please share. Blessings to you all. This will mean so much to Arron who was facing death a month ago.
