Arriannah Adkins Medical Fund

Donation protected
As many of you probably already know, Arrie Adkins fell off of a 20 ft cliff while hiking with two of her friends at Cascade Park on 06/02. Arrie was Life Flighted to Metro where it was determined she had suffered a spinal dislocation and a spinal fracture. She required emergency surgery in order to stabilize her spine which came with a high risk of Arrie being paralyzed. Thankfully, the surgery went extremely well and Arrie was almost immediately able to move her arms AND legs after surgery when prompted by her medical team! Arrie is up and walking but is still in a lot of pain and will likely require rehabilitation. She will be off of work for a minimum of 2 months and the possibility of up to 6 months. With any trauma to this extent comes a pile of medical bills, co-pays, and of course, the family trying to figure out Arrie's living expenses for the next 2-6 months. This comes with at a time when her mom, Chrissy, is already missing work in order to take care of an ill parent. What a hard couple of weeks this family has had!
Now, let me tell you how amazing this family is! Chrissy and I have known each other since high school and I honestly don't have a bad word to say about her. She and I were reconnected years after high school when our daughters became friends at an early age. Chrissy has done an spectacular job raising both of her girls as a young, single mother. Chrissy would give her last dollar or the shirt off of her back to help a person in need and this is a trait she has passed along to both Arrie and Jenna. After hearing her daughter was out of a successful surgery, Chrissy's main concern was to find the man who helped her daughter on Tueaday and pay it forward to the first responders.
Arrie has a long road of physical, mental, and emotional recovery ahead of her and this family needs our help! Please consider donating whatever you are able to help this wonderful family in their time of need. All donations will go towards medical bills, co-pays, and daily living expenses while Arrie continues to recover and Chrissy takes time off of work to care for her daughter and her ill parent. All positive thoughts and prayers are welcomed and very much appreciated!
