My brother Jesse got married Saturday in Dallas to his sweetheart Maggie. Last night, robbers entered his house in Oak Cliff and took all the cash that loving friends and family gave them  on that beautiful day (along with my nephews' piggy banks and Playstations). They were going to go to the bank to deposit the wedding gifts today.

It wasn't a lot to some people, but that money was going to help them make fixes to the house, pay down bills and maybe put a little away.

Jesse and Maggie are very private people. They work hard, are good parents and fear God. Giving won't remove the pain caused by this heinous violation. But it could restore some of their economic security and allow them to recover some of the joy they felt on their wedding day.
