Michelle McDonald had a decades-long history of suffering with and battling against mental illness. On August 9 she lost that battle, and passed away peacefully in her apartment in Henderson, Nevada.

The wake of her loss has revealed so many people who cared deeply for Michelle even, or especially, through her worst. There's no doubt she had all the love and support anyone would be blessed to have.

The funds raised here will be used to cover the costs of final arrangements for Michelle and her belongings, as well as a memorial service which will be organized at a date TBA.

We're hoping by collecting in this way, anyone who wants to contribute can do so without feeling obligated to give more than they comfortably can. Any excess funds will be put toward continuing Michelle's efforts in supporting her parents.
