My sister was always such a strong, loving woman who would have given you the shirt off of her back if you were struggling to afford one to wear. She was such a beautiful soul, inside and out and no amount of words that I can come up with at this moment could do her the justice she deserves.

Last night, March 25th 2020 Leslie Mae Springman passed away peacefully and comfortably in hospice care at Nazareth Hospital. The heartbreak of losing my best friend, my big sister and someone who was like a mother to me is absolutely overwhelming.

Sadly, I live paycheck to paycheck and I cannot afford the funds to pay for the cremation and memorial service that I chose to do for her. We have chosen Galzerano's in Levittown, who assured me she's going to be treated with absolute respect and I do not doubt that for a moment. Due to COVID-19 the memorial service will be at least a month down the road, and thankfully they told me they're going to give us time to raise the money that's needed and wont have to pay them until before the actual memorial service. the Goal fund is the amount that will be needed for the package I have chosen. If you cannot afford to donate, I completely understand... but if you even just put in a dollar then I would be so, so grateful for the generosity.

My name is Colleen, Leslie's little sister and creator of this campaign. Myself and Shovanne, who was not only Leslie's best friend but is like a sister to both me and Leslie, will be managing this campaign together.
