Hi everyone, my name is Simon Cable. I together with John “Willo” Williams, David Joyner and Gary Francis will be driving from Bournemouth to Poland on Wednesday the 23rd with two vans full of essential aid for Ukrainian refugees. We are working with the charity "Help from Bournemouth to Ukraine," who will load the van with all the necessary items we can carry. Our journey will take us four days, 2,500 miles, 13 hours of ferry crossings and 40 hours of driving to get the supplies to those who need them most. Our time is free, and will take two days off work and then drive through the weekend to get there and back; however, the fuel is expensive, the van hire, the insurance and incidentals are quite high and the closer we can get to our target, the closer we can get aid to those who need it the most. If more is raised than required, any excess will be donated to the Red cross urgent appeal for Ukraine. Or go towards a second trip. Please help with whatever you can. Bless you.
