Nikki was the 2011 KP Regimental Dog who was released back to me due to separation anxiety. She has been a great pet and a true KPer ever since. Everyone who has come through the New Orleans area has gotten to visit with her and have all had a special place in their heart for her.

Nikki has a torn ACL (like so many of us athletes) and needs surgery. Unfortunately it is rather expensive, but she will only get worse without it. My sister pointed out that over the years, she has seen KPers come together in times of need, and thought it would be a great idea to reach out to see if alumni would be willing to donate to help.

This website allows people to donate, even if it's $10, anything helps. My goal is $4,000.00, and if I receive anything over what the surgery costs, I am going to donate the money back to the KP Alumni Foundation.
