Over the past few years my life has changed drastically, mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually and much more. 2 years ago I began attending a recovery program through my church where I spent the next year and a half addressing my hurts, habits and hangups with other like minded people seeking healing & freedom. I also began attending a house church that met at Denver Seminary learning Christ centered discipleship & evangelism. God used these two communities along with counseling to change my perspective about myself, my purpose & my relationship with God in drastic, divine ways.
Last month I felt God calling me away from my job of 6 years with my family business to pursue something that would allow me to further discover who God created me to be, to build my relationship with God in a new way & learn how better to reach people with the message of Jesus & the freedom he has in store for us all. I left my family business & applied for a Discipleship Training School (DTS) within Youth With A Mission (YWAM). On September 30th 2019 I'll be embarking on a 5 month journey to pursue further education in missions. I look forward to learning the tools & skills to better share my story & spread the gospel to bring people to Jesus.
Following ten weeks of lectures in Denver, the Around the World Discipleship Training School will send me to multiple nations in eleven weeks for a missions experience unlike any other. I will have the opportunity to see a variety of cultures and expressions of the Father’s heart across the world. I'll be equipped to minister effectively & boldly, walking in the authority given by Christ.
I am extremely excited for this opportunity & can't wait to see how God moves in my life & the lives of others. I know he's just getting started with me as I believe this experience is just the beginning of what God wants to do through me. This training school is a 5 month immersive experience, so I will not be able to work or have any source of income during this time, so I am humbly asking for your support.
This support is more than just a means to an end, it's an investment in me. An opportunity to cultivate my heart, inspire me & equip me to reach others that I otherwise could not reach. It will also help me to better impact others in my sphere of influence, network of connections & people I surround myself with on a daily basis at home. Your support would make a difference in my world & the world around me to help bring people to Jesus, in hopes of them doing the same. The ripple effect being one that we may never know the depth of on this earth.
