Around and around I go !

Hi, my name is Jason and I’m a little bit mad. Every year I challenge myself to achieve a new personal goal and while doing so I try and raise some money for a good cause. This year is extra special as my Son started a new school in September 2023. He is nonverbal autistic and was lucky enough to get the opportunity to attend Heltwate school as they were just opening an extension . As a school that is already helping so many children ,to now be able to offer that help to even more is amazing . The school has already positively impacted my son in so many ways I would like to give something back and help to get the new playground set up with all the outdoor sensory equipment that the children need . They are in need of stand up spinners ,as these are a firm favourite of the children . The children also have access to a canopied outdoors area for wet days and if they is any funds left it will be used to make this more sensory appealing for the children as it is so important to still be able to go outside even when the rain comes . This is more than just play equipment, this is about helping the children to be able to regulate and learn.

So what is the challenge you ask ? In the theme of going round and round I will doing an ultra marathon at Peterborough athletics track on Friday 19th April 2024. I will be running a total of 30 miles, which roughly 120 laps . I will be using the Strava app to update progress and verify distance.
