Going into this we knew that there could be some complications and side effects after the surgery. Well the surgery went well with no complications during the operation itself. However, the medical staff is actively working to get Timmy to walk and full use of his limbs back. This part has been a struggle and he will be staying longer in rehab now to address this. As any of us could imagine, not knowing if and when you will be able walk again would be quite a frightful feeling. Please continue to keep Timmy in your thoughts and show him support. He is scared but in typical Timmy fashion “still fighting”.
