Arno Matz and Family
Donation protected
If you don't know Arno Matz and his family, you should. Arno works as a full-time photographer out of Olympia + an editor for the SPSCC publication. His fiancee, Brianna, works at the Ram as a bartender and is a sales representative for Arbonne cosmetics. Amazingly, these people are also working through college while raising their beautiful daughter, Mila. Both Arno and Brianna are, without fail, positive and relentlessly motivated. Despite the set-backs they have faced as a young family, they fight every day for their passions and their futures.
A few weeks ago, Arno was driving and hit black ice, causing his car to careen into a telephone pole striking the drivers side of the vehicle. The results were severe. The accident left him with a HEMORRHAGED SPLEEN, CRACKED RIBS + heavy INTERNAL BLEEDING; after SPLEEN SURGERY, 2 BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS and a week in the hospital, he is slowly recovering.
THE REASON FOR THIS ‘GOFUNDME’ IS AS FOLLOWS:
In addition to the strain of losing his only vehicle, hospital stay, medical expenses, loss of work and the strain of not being able to finish the school quarter,
the force of the collision was enough to SPLIT HIS CAMERA IN TWO, PASSED THE POINT OF REPAIR.
HE LOST THE ABILITY TO GAIN HIS LIVELIHOOD AND PROVIDE FOR HIS FAMILY.
This is why this fund exists, as Arno's friend and coworker, I'm hoping the community can come together to help a friend, community member, and young man in need this holiday season. Whether you are a student, parent, or grandparent, you can connect to Arno and Brianna's story.
If you would like to donate, your money will be put 100% towards a new camera so he can begin working again. We would like to meet our goal by the 15th of January, 2016.
Your generosity is extremely appreciated by myself, and Arno, Brianna, and Mila. Let's come together to help this family this holiday season.
Thank you.

P.S. Margaret Thomas is our close friend, newspaper advisor, and teacher at SPSCC. She has been created as the mediator on the page for accountability. Thank you.
