Arnold's Amazaballs Recovery

We are fundraising to help our dear friend, Arnold Robles, recover after suffering a frontal lobe hemorrhage. Arnold is currently stable, but as we all know - hospital bills are incredibly un-amazeballs. On top of what are promising to be some monster bills, Arnold is going to be missing quite a bit of work as part of his recovery.

If you know anything about Arnold, you know that he's always there for friends and strangers alike. He is an active supporter of Ward 1 Mutual Aid and has helped to energize no end of fundraisers for DC Abortion Fund, The Trevor Project, and other worthwhile causes. In his many years as a bartender in DC, Arnold always looked out for vulnerable patrons and was the first to step in if anyone needed assistance. Maybe he walked you home one night, or kept a creepy guy from bothering you, or stood up when someone said some shitty thing to you in his presence. If it wasn't you, odds are, he did it for someone you know.

Though he's no longer bartending, Arnold is still an active neighborhood watchman in Mt. Pleasant. Always willing to lend a hand, he never thinks twice about stepping into danger if someone needs assistance. Arnold and his wife Tara have done so much for our community in NW DC and so much to support causes in need - it's time that we step up to support them.

Our fundraising goal may adjust up or down, depending on what the final bills look like. Any funds raised over what is needed will be donated to Ward 1 Mutual Aid.
