Hi my name is Arend Smith and I am fundraising for the funeral of my dad, Arnold Smith. Arnie passed away on January 2nd from a long battle with COPD. He fought like crazy to make it to Christmas this year but just could not hold on any longer. The cost of his medication and care this last year has depleted money for funeral costs. If you ever met my dad than you were gifted with a smile and a laugh. He loved his wife of 50 years more than anything on this earth. His kids and grand kids could never have asked for someone more loving and caring. The last few years Arnie had to give up some of the things that he loved to do most, hunting and riding motorcycle. It broke his heart but we were still able to get him out on the boat for some fishing. He enjoyed every second of it. He loved being outdoors and enjoying it with my mom.
