The Flores Family is fundraising for Vic Flores funeral and medical expenses.

We find ourselves in a situation we never expected, and it's with mixed emotions that we create this GoFundMe campaign. We want to share our story and the reasons behind our decision to ask for help. We want to be transparent about our situation. When we began this journey, we never wanted to ask for financial assistance. However, the reality of cancer treatment expenses and funeral costs has become overwhelming.

On September 2nd we said our final goodbyes to a man who meant the world to us - Vic Flores. He was not only a husband and father but a pillar of strength, and the source of endless love and laughter in our lives.

Vic’s battle with stage four colon cancer was nothing short of heroic. He faced each day with determination, a smile on his face, and an unwavering spirit that inspired everyone around him. His resilience in the face of adversity taught us the true meaning of courage.

His journey with cancer has been a tough one, and we want to share with you the details of what he went through.

Vic faced incredibly challenging battle against stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to various vital organs, including his liver, kidney, pancreas, and even his brain. Day by day Vic had to deal with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and chronic pain all over his body.

Back in July, we received the devastating news that the cancer spread to his brain. Our world turned upside down as we grappled with the shock of the diagnosis. In a devastating turn, he had to undergo radiation therapy to target four lesions. Due to brain metastases, he's had to cope with communication problems, and other neurological issues.

Throughout this journey, the family stood united by his side, offering our love and support every step of the way.
