Hi, my name is Jason am urgently raising funds for my friend, Ryan, an Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, who has been left in crisis after a devastating flood destroyed his home and all of his belongings.

Ryan lives with PTSD and other service-related conditions. Four days ago, a major flood rendered his flat unsafe and uninhabitable. Since then, he has been left inside the property with no working facilities, waiting for his landlord to take action.

During this time:

• Every personal belonging Ryan owned was destroyed

• He has no clean clothes, bedding, or furniture

• He has been left without proper support or accommodation

• The only option offered to him was a homeless shelter that houses active addicts, which is entirely unsuitable and unsafe given his PTSD

Meanwhile, another resident in the same building was moved into a hotel within hours and provided meals and financial assistance. Ryan has received none of this support.

This situation is urgent and ongoing. Ryan needs help now to secure:

• Safe, temporary accommodation

• Essential clothing and personal items

• Food and basic living expenses

• Immediate support while he waits for repairs and official help

Ryan served his country. Right now, he is being left behind during one of the most vulnerable moments of his life.
