Army Birthday Benefit Concert
Donation protected
Dear Friend,
Since 1950, the Association of the United States Army has worked to support all aspects of national
security while advancing the interests of America’s Army and the men and women who serve.
The Association of the United States Army is a nonprofit educational and professional development
association serving America’s Total Army, our Soldiers, Army civilians, and their families; our
industry partners, and supporters of a strong national defense. AUSA connects the Army to the
American people at the national, regional, and chapter levels.
Part of our mission as the local chapter to the Army’s premier training center, the National
Training Center and Fort Irwin, is to provide opportunities that are rarely afforded to the
Soldiers, Families and government workers at the installation. These opportunities include our
Transitioning family seminar series which brings industry leaders to the installation to teach
Soldiers and their families what it takes to start your own business or prepare financially for the
future, scholarships, financial support to units for recreational activities as well as support for
important initiatives such as suicide awareness and prevention and homelessness.
Some of our past were a Spa day for spouses of deployed Soldiers, an entrepreneurship seminar,
spouses’ tour of the local area, and scholarships. We are excited to announce our two signature
events for this year which are the 243rd Army Birthday Ball on the 21st of Jun 2018 and the
Southern California Veterans Symposium that we are co hosting with Welcome Home troops which will
be held on the 13th and 14th of Nov 2018.
Without your donation none of these opportunities will come to fruition. We know you have many
choices on where your donor dollars go and hope that you choose to support those who have served
and those who continue to serve both at home and abroad.
Warmest Regards,
Renita Wickes-Deason
