Army 10-Miler for CW02 Brian White

Donation protected
A little over a year ago, my big brother Chief Warrant Officer 2 Brian White died in a tragic plane crash .

All his life, my brother loved flying and airplanes. When we were children, we would stand at the airplane gate windows and watch the planes take off and land. He had many books about airplanes & flying - his whole life was dedicated to becoming a pilot.

As part of that journey, Brian received a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Studies from MTSU in 2009. During his college years, Brian mastered flight and became a highly-qualified pilot. One year later, Brian joined the United States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer where he flew Blackhawk helicopters. My brother was stationed at many state-side locations (Tennessee, Alabama, California) but he also honorably served in a deployment to Afghanistan.

In Brian's honor, I will be running the Army 10-Miler in Washington DC on October 7. As part of this effort, I am hoping to raise money for the two scholarships my family has set up at his alma mater, Middle Tennessee State University.

These scholarships ($1,000 per student every year) are maintained through an endowment fund, which provides the money for potential pilots in the MTSU Aerospace program. Learn more about the Brian White Endowed Scholarship here .

I want to dedicate this race in my brother's honor and would greatly appreciate your support. All proceeds will go towards his scholarship fund.
