Adoption Celebration Trip

Hi there!

I'm Megan, little sister to the lovely Jaime Armentrout. Over the last 10 years Jaime has fostered 15 kids in her home - as a single mom - I think we can all agree that she is superwoman.

Five years ago this October, Jaime adopted Le'Aira out of foster care and we can't imagine our lives without her in it. She's one of us. In just a few short months, Jaime will adopt Braiden and the feeling is mutual to say the least. It feels like Braiden & Le'Aira have always been with us and our family prepared our hearts for them the moment Jaime said yes to foster care.

It has been a long time coming for Braiden's adoption. After 5.5 years of a case caught in the court system, Jaime finally got to share the good news that Braiden wasn't going anywhere. He was going to legally be a part of our family. When she asked him what he wanted to do to celebrate his adoption (thinking that he would want a big party) he responded "Let's go to Disney!!"

Jaime has always wanted to go on a family vacation with Braiden & Le'Aira but finances were tight. I can think of no better reason to rally around this sweet family than right now, to celebrate the adoption of Braiden and the 5th anniversary of Le'Aira's adoption.

It would cost $5,250 to send our entire family of seven to Disney in 2022. This would include:

Gas | $606 (2 cars, $228.50 each way + $75 week of driving in FL)

Air BnB | $1,200 ($200 per night for 6 nights)

Disney Tickets (2 parks) | $1,526 ($109 per person, per park)

Universal Studios | $1,148 ($164 per person, 2 parks in 1 day)

Meals / Groceries | $600

Misc | $170

Total | $5,250
