Hi, I am writing this on behalf of our Armed Forces Veterans. The photos you see are of a retreat set up for Veterans who are struggling to recover from PTSD and other issues. The wonderful man who runs it charges nothing for veterans to come, stay and recover from trauma whether they stay a week or a year. He answers ever call he get and drives across the country to pick them up and bring them to this place of sanctuary. As you can see from the photos the retreat was decimated in the storm last week. We are currently working salvaging what we can so we can continue the good work but desperately need help to rebuild. The camp looks like the Somme, we are living in rat infested horseboxes (that leak) but we are desperate for help to rebuild so we can continue to help these men and women who served our country. Badger (the owner real name Darren) has had call outs from the public where he has literally talked men off cliffs when they feel they can’t cope with the trauma so please please give what you can to help support these brave men and women who left their friends and families to serve our country.
