Arman's Funeral Fund

It is with a sad and broken heart that we have to share the news of the passing of my nephew, Arman Salessi, aka "Armando Garza". This comes to a great shock to everyone who knew him; especially his family and those closest to him.

He passed away on Sunday, January 12th, peacefully in his sleep.

From the beginning,  Arman was such a happy, charming and charismatic little boy. He was often told that he would grow up to be in politics, "The President" or a salesman. He was very mischievous as all little boys are. He had a heart of gold and was very sweet. We took him crabbing once when he was about 5 years old. He was watching us catch the crab with the crab pots. The tiny red rock crab kept hanging on to the net. Arman asks, "Why are those crabs being little assholes?" That was one of the funniest memories of him.

Growing up into a teenager his life really started to change when he moved back to Beaverton and joined football during middle school. He lost 50 lbs and kept at football for three years. We were all so proud of him. He was heading in the right direction for both his Freshman and Sophomore years of high school. He was loving life by hanging out with his friends and family.

During his Junior year he was not making the best choices, like a typical teenager, with all the  pressures of high school. Then in February of 2018 he had an incident where he almost lost his life. Now he was not only dealing with the stresses of a teenager but now dealing with PTSD and depression. He was going to a psychiatrist, acupuncture and counseling.  But, even with those modalities and trying to be "normal"; Arman was dealing with a lot. It seems as when one thing was going right another thing was going wrong. Arman did assist on the football team although he couldn't play due to his injuries, but he could not catch a break. He was dealing with his near death experience for the last two years. Those of us that were closest to him knew how much he was trying to stay positive and focused.

Arman is in heaven smiling down on us. RIP Arman Abus Salessi aka "Armando Garza" we love you and will miss you with all our hearts. You will be gone but not forgotten.

With this unexpected passing of Arman, Carmen Garza, his mom and my twin sister are asking for your help with his funeral costs. Any amount of contribution will be appreciated.   Thanks in advance!
