Dear Members and Volunteers,

This is Kim Denton from the museum. Earlier this year, one of our members received a terminal cancer diagnosis. While some of you may already be aware, I will keep their name private to respect their privacy.

They are still working, but on a limited basis and it is a struggle for them. They are facing significant financial challenges while trying to support their family, including their teenage children. With Christmas approaching, the stress of their situation has understandably grown.

As a close-knit community, we have an opportunity to come together and support them during this difficult time. After speaking with a family member and consulting with Stephen and Kevin, we’ve decided to set up a GoFundMe campaign. This will allow the family to use the funds for whatever they need most—whether it’s mortgage payments, bills, groceries, or Christmas expenses.

Let’s show them the love and support that defines our group.
