Arlos operation and on going care

Hi everyone this is my boy arlo hes 4 years old he went missing last week for 16 hours very unlike him and when he came home he was very unwell unable to walk wouldn't move he was in alot of pain still to this day I dont know what happened to him. The vets think he got locked in somewhere and was unable to go to the toilet as hes used to going outside or in his litter tray and this caused a blockage in his bladder or he has been through something very tramatic.
He was in veterinary hospital for 4 days in very critical condition his kidneys and potassium levels were at very dangerous levels.
I got him back less than 12 hours later his bladder had blocked again:( I had rush him back to the veterinary hospital where has has been ever since hes had so many things done hes had urine catherters multiple.blood tests a day urine tests done multiple times aday. Strong painkillers, scans, xrays ivs, sedation, anti anxiety meds the list goes on.
Arlo is due to have an operation on Friday the 26th September.
This is to amputate part of his privates (penis) to make the hole for him to urinate bigger so this could stop the blockages and he will be able to urinate properly. With arlo having a blocked bladder he now also has a condition which I have been told will never fully go away but can be managed with medication cystitis this will mean he may need on.gping treatment for flareups.
With all of arlos medication and treatment that he has already received its a huge amount of money.
I have pet insurance that will cover upto £7000 arlos treatment without the op is already at around £6500 it could go over by £300-£500 estimated that's including all the money me and my partner have got together.
All the aftercare meds and special food he will be prescribed its all adding up.
Something happened to arlo and me and the vets really don't know what could have caused this they can only guess at this stage but I want my baby boy home his humans sisters are missing him and so are me and my partner.
I'm so sorry for the long read I've tried to fit as much information as I can.
I really appreciate any amount donated if you can or even a share with friends and family thank you soo much x
