Hi, my name is Lucy and I never thought I’d be here writing this or asking to fundraise for Arlos IVDD spine surgery…

…Arlo has had many complications with his heath all throughout his little life, most leading to over 7 different major surgeries which he has luckily recovered from.

One of the major heath issues he’s dealing with is the horrendous Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) on his spine.

At the beginning of this year, Arlos IVDD appeared near his neck and one of the discs burst, causing him a lot of pain and not being able to move properly. He then had an MRI, then urgently leading to surgery which he is now recovering from.

Upon our post-op check, the vet informed us of another complication on Arlos MRI scan: There is another disc in the middle of his back that is bulging and is a ticking time bomb from bursting, but this time it’s right on his spinal cord which could cause paralysis or worse.

Unfortunately our insurance has been maxed out on Arlos unexpected neck surgery this year

that has now left me to try and fund his next major surgery.

Arlo is the bravest boy going through all these heath issues, I would do anything I can to make his life the best it can be given his circumstances.

The spinal surgery is looking to be around £3k-£4k which is a huge amount of money! I have got some money to go towards the cost. But unfortunately with how time critical it is for him to have this surgery I’m just not able to afford that whole amount in time.

As much as I really want to avoid going down the ‘asking for money’ route, I fear that at this time it’s pretty much the only option.

We would be eternally grateful if anyone is able to donate (no matter how small) towards Arlos Surgery.
