Hello everyone. For those who do not know me, my name is Sarah Scheib. I am Arlin's wife of 14 years. We share 3 beautiful children and live in a tight-knit rural community. Arlin is a devoted family man, hard worker, and has a deep passion for cooking. He's a friend to just about anyone he meets and is deeply loved by many within our community. He is the kind of person that would give you the shirt off of his back if it meant seeing you smile easier.

I created this GoFundMe as my husband has fallen extremely ill and bills are piling up. Arlin is the sole breadwinner of our family currently and will be unable to work for an unforeseen amount of time. He was rushed to the emergency room due to severe swelling in his limbs and torso and extreme shortness of breath. These symptoms were caused by congestive heart failure. He is only 37 years old. He is currently being held in the ICU and will be there for quite some time more. Since he has been in, they have found other issues plaguing him that they are working to heal. There was blood in his urine, a wound on his stomach, a rash on his stomach and feet, blood clotting, etc. They are continuing to fight to get his heart rate down. When he went in, it was over 200 bpm. Once they have his heart rate under control they will be able to do more for him. He has seen a wound care specialist, a cardiologist, surgeon, and endocrinologist that I can think of off the top of my head. Beyond the need for help with bills, Arlin will need medical equipment and special clothing that was recommended to him by the staff taking care of him.
