Further to the great news that Spedeworth have agreed a deal to resume racing at Arlington Stadium, the hard work now starts in getting the required significant repair and refurbishment works carried out to enable the reopening.

I am raising funds with the agreement of Deane and Janet Wood to help get these works done as soon as possible, so that everyone can get back to enjoying their racing from whichever side of the fence they choose!

Although we are setting the initial goal at £50,000, the reality is that a significantly larger sum will be needed to get the stadium up to the required standard, but the generosity of the racing community will go a long way towards making this happen.
