Arlet Alley's Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected
We would like to thank everyone who has donated thus far to help Arlet and the whole family get through this tragedy.

Arlet has been in remission and has stayed in remission, which we are extremely thankful for. She now is done with the most extreme parts of chemotherapy. Instead of weekly visits, she now only goes in for labs once a month and takes her daily chemotherapy mediation at home. She still has about a year and a half of treatment left with daily chemo meds, monthly clinic visits, port infusion/spinal chemotherapy every 3 months, amongst other things.

She has been a fighter throughout this whole process. It’s been truly inspirational to watch her handle this with grace and continue to be that funny beautiful girl we all love.

With random medical expenses, days taken off from work, the lack of ability to have a flexible schedule at work, and the current economy, the Alley's are still struggling to make ends meet. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please share this GoFundMe with anyone you think would like to be a part of helping Arlet and the Alley's get through this and make it to the light at the end of the tunnel. We would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

On 8/15/23 our close friend’s daughter, Arlet, a spirited and joyful 3-year-old girl was diagnosed with leukemia. Her parents knew something was wrong when their sweet, funny, and happy little girl began to feel sick. After a few misdiagnoses, they knew in their hearts something was not right and continued to press the doctors to look further. Hours later they found out it was Leukemia. This came as a shock to family and friends, but we are determined to fight alongside Arlet every step of the way.

Arlet is a strong little fighter who has shown an extraordinary force of resilience. Her unforgettable laugh and smile light up the room and bring joy to everyone around her. Despite the difficult journey ahead, Arlet continues to be the most wonderful daughter and sister. She has maintained that beautiful little spirit everyone has grown to love and she shows immense courage to fight this battle that no child should ever have to endure.

The Alley family includes Cameron (father), Janet (mother), Ivan (16-year-old son), Arlet (daughter), and Max (newborn son). Cameron and Janet are some of the most loving and selfless people we know. Both Janet and Cameron hold jobs that help people in need daily, now it’s time for us to help them during this extremely difficult time.

Medical bills and ongoing treatment along with other expenses will place an incredible strain on their finances that will be difficult to bear on their own. To provide the best care and support for Arlet, Cameron and Janet will become full-time caregivers and be unable to continue in their line of work for the foreseeable future.

Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful impact in helping them focus on Arlet’s health. We humbly ask you to consider donating, sharing Arlet’s story with your friends and family, and keeping her in your thoughts. Thank you.
