My name is Tarah and the beautiful lady in the middle of the photo is my mom, Arlene. She is my rock and my huge family's foundation. She is with out a doubt, the strongest person I've ever know. She truly is an angel, to say the least. In December of 2020, she was diagnosed with Stage III Pancreatic Cancer which was supposedly inoperable. After a trip to Fargo for biopsy and 2 trips to Mayo for biopsy and 2nd opinions, not to mention countless Doctor appointments in between, she had been misdiagnosed and now was considered Stage II with a chance for the Whipple Procedure after numerous treatments of chemotherapy and radiation. She endured 9 months of that and yet another trip to Mayo to find out her CA-19 was finally low enough to proceed with surgery. While in surgery in December of 2021, the surgeon realized that her tumor had grown around a main artery and could not be removed so they aborted the operation. Now Arlene must endure more treatments of what and for how long we dont know yet, but what is for sure that this means many more trips to Mayo that will be quite expensive. I'm asking for any donations to help curve the costs of travel, hotel stays, Gas or any expenses my mom may have in the near future that would help ease her stress of everything she is going through. My mom is the most important person in my life. She is so giving to everyone she meets whether it be her time, money, shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen or give advice and I want her to know that We love her so much and will do anything to help ease her pain and lessen her stress even just a little.
