Dear Potential Supporter,
The Mock Trial program at the University of Arizona allows undergraduate students to experience the ins and outs of the law and a newfound level of school involvement, confidence, and competitiveness.
Every student involved in Mock Trial is successful. Whether that success is gained through acting out a fun character witness, portraying a proficient expert witness, or learning about being an attorney, there is room for everyone to succeed. To be successful, Mock Trial requires a great deal of preparation, but it is worth the work when success is reached in competition. Furthermore, the lessons learned in this program apply to everyday life. The University of Arizona competes against other undergraduate college programs across the country through this program. Students can learn much about themselves, their strengths and weaknesses, and what it means to be part of a team. To compete, our five teams travel across the country and experience being at other universities in cities like Cleveland, Houston, Los Angeles, and countless others.
At this point, you may be wondering how you fit into all of this. Traveling expenses, registering for competitions, booking hotels, and other fees come at a high cost, and we cannot do it alone. We are the next generation of attorneys, actors, business owners, and more. By supporting our club, you are showing our members that they can be successful and achieve goals without the fear of a financial burden. If you want to contribute to our program, you can donate on GoFundMe or Venmo @arizonamocktrial. Our program cannot continue to compete and travel to competitions without funds. Any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
UAMT Fundraising Chair
