Our family moved to Arizona almost two years ago. Since being here, we have had the worst of experiences. When we first arrived, we found out our jobs were not real ones. After finding new work and struggling, we found a cheaper house to rent with the expectation of saving up more money and getting back on track. We found a place through Invitation Homes, but while moving our second load, we found someone from the company drilling out the locks. They informed us that we had been scammed. They had gotten everything. We contacted the police and filed a police report, but we will probably never be able to recover everything we lost.

We are just hanging on faith and hope. If there is anyone who could please help us with anything to help us find short-term housing until we can get back on our own feet, this has shattered our hearts. I hate to even have to ask for help; we would much rather be on the helping end of things. We have a 12-year-old daughter who should not have to be dealing with any of this. If anyone could please help, it would mean everything to us. We would be forever grateful.
