I'm taking a stand for our kids and I invite you to join me! I've been volunteering as a pickleball coach for the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Pickleball club, and we're on a mission to send our team to Gallaudet University's inaugural Deaf Junior Pickleball tournament in Washington DC on March 22nd. Although we recently received disappointing news from the ASDB agency, we refuse to let this opportunity slip away. With the kids’ parent full supports, Shawn Benavente and I are taking action to make this trip a reality. We've been practicing tirelessly at the park, and now we need your support. The Arizona Deaf Pickleball community is fundraising to earn enough money to send our Deaf youths to the first-ever National Deaf Junior Pickleball Tournament in Washington, D.C.! 14 Deaf teams from nationwide will compete against each other. The money will tremendously help cover the expenses:

~ Meals: over 4 days for breakfast, lunch, dinner

~ Transportation: Uber Driver to get around Washington DC

~ Gears: 2 team shirts each, hoodies, and shorts

~ Tournament fees

~ Registration fees

~ Hotel: over 4 nights players and chaperones

~ Airfare: flights tickets for chaperones

Leftover money will be used to cover Arizona Deaf Pickleball shirts for the community as a BIG THANK YOU for your contributions! Any small or big donations are appreciated!
