Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for assistance on behalf of our dear friend, Aritra Kundu. On 6/2/2023, Aritra went in for an MRI after having persistent headaches for almost a month. He was diagnosed to have a brain tumor that was approximately 6cm*6cm*7cm in size and was rushed to the Stanford Medicine Health Care center in Palo Alto, CA. He underwent his first surgery on 6/3/2023, where because of some unexpected complications doctors could only remove a part of his tumor. He is scheduled to be operated upon again on 6/8/2023 to remove the remaining part. The tumor has been sent for pathological tests and we are still awaiting the reports.

This unexpected journey has placed an immense emotional and financial burden on Aritra and his family, and we are hoping to rally support to help alleviate their struggles during this challenging time.

Aritra completed his Phd. from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago last year and is currently working at Tesla as a Reliability Engineer. He is an amazing human being always carrying a smile on his face and ready to help others in his community. He loves playing soccer and eating good food. He is getting married next year and is looking forward to the big day.

The road to recovery following a brain surgery is often a long and arduous one. Along with the physical and emotional challenges, the financial implications can be overwhelming.
