Ari's Legacy: Help Kayla and Chris Heal

I'm asking for help on behalf of my niece, Kayla Alvarado. Kayla and her long time partner Christopher Allen were so happy to find out she was pregnant with a little girl but joy turned into a nightmare when she developed Pre-eclampsia, which endangered her life and her baby girls. Due to this condition Kayla went into premature labor and gave birth at 23 weeks on May 1st at Georgetown University. Kayla's life was spared by the grace of God but her baby girl which they named Ari Jayce Allen was left fighting for her life. Her lungs had not fully developed and she only weighed in at 1.3lbs. Day by day, Ari was slowly growing into a beautiful, strong baby girl, closer to coming home, but still had a long fight ahead.

Sadly, on June 5th Ari's lungs couldn't hold out any longer and she passed away after a team of doctors and nurses did everything possible. Kayla and Chris are absolutely devastated, especially after Kayla just losing her grandmother who was also a mother figure to her a few months ago.

I decided to make this go fund me to help my niece with any funeral costs and hospital bills associated with Ari's stay in the NICU. If you even have a couple dollars to spare I'd be forever grateful with any help in taking the financial burden off their shoulders so they can focus on grieving the loss of their child. Ari was a fighter and she fought every day for a little over a month, she deserves a proper burial.
