Ari was born April 7,2020. She was diagnosed with HLHS Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. This means, the left side of her heart did not develop. Unfortunately this is not something that can be cured. She will forever have this congenital heart defect and will most likely end with a heart transplant. She has had two surgeries thus far. She was discharged to go home April 27th and then suddenly was readmitted June 12th with decreased heart function (heart failure) and fluid in the lungs. We are currently asking for donations to assist with any medical costs that we have during this lifelong in an out hospital trips and additional surgeries that she is still to have.
