40 year old Arindam has been in a vegetative state for the last 3 years. He went to India in Dec 2018 with his wife and then 4 year old daughter and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He underwent neurosurgery in Apollo Chennai and went into a coma after that. He was comatose for 18 months and fortunately is recovering slowly.
Medical insurance refused to pay for his extended coverage in India so he was airlifted from Chennai to Charlotte, NC in Dec 2019. Once again insurance declined his long-term coverage in the US. Atrium Hospital in Charlotte stepped up to help and arranged for his transportation to Chennai in Sept 2020.
After being at home for over 6 months, Arindam currently is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai where monthly costs are upwards of Rs 6 Lakh / $8200. He has been in Apollo Chennai since July of 2021. The family is trying to get by on disability insurance and cannot bear the astronomical medical costs. The young family needs your thoughts, prayers and support. Please help this family in need by making a donation and sharing this link with your friends and family.
Thank you for your generosity.
