Arigato Employee Fundraiser
Donation protected
This is a message to all of our loyal Arigato friends and family,
For the past 35 years, it has been our priviledge to provide you with fresh sushi and friendly service. In those years, we hope that we have created a unique family-like atmosphere. You have always been more than just customers to us.
As you know, the restaurant community of Santa Barbara has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the crisis, we closed our doors on March 17 and laid off all of our employees. We did this to follow the guidelines set forth by the Governor and the CDC and to promote the safety of our both our guests and employees. Sadly, we have no idea how long this temporary closure will last. This puts our staff in a very precarious position. Many of our employees will not be able to survive a prolonged closure.
In response, we are launching a fundraising campaign to provide support for our employees who are especially struggling during this unprecedented time. We want to take the funds raised and create an employee assistant program to help with medical benefits and basic cost of living expenses. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to our workers.
We do not ask for this help lightly. It is our hope that with your generous support, we will be able to survive until this danger has passed and we can go back to serving as your favorite, neighborhood sushi bar.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
The Staff of Arigato
