Hi. My name is Arie. I’m a six month old Bernese mountain dog and I was born with a special heart. My mom took me to a cardiologist and I was diagnosed with a Patent Ductus Arteriosus. My condition is severe and my heart has already begun to fail. The doctor gave me at most six months to live unless I have emergency open heart surgery to repair my special heart. With the surgery, I am expected to live a full and healthy life. My mom loves me SOO much, but isn’t able to afford this expensive procedure.
