Ariel's Kidney Journey

Hi everyone my name is Ariel. I am 31 years old and a mother of two wonderful children, a boy and a girl. I'm reaching out to you all during this time to ask for your support with my kidney battle. I am battling End stage renal disease and am currently on dialysis. I first started having kidney issues during my pregnancy in 2016. But now on dialysis since September 2022. I do peritoneal dialysis, which is done from home. I am connected to the machine for 10 hours a day 7 days a week. It gets hard being a mom, trying to work and dialyze but I'm pushing through. This fundraiser is to prepare and assist me with kidney transplant surgery, recovery, medication, any copays, and other needs I may have and or require while recovering. I will be even more immune compromised so I will be unable to work or even able to come outside to such places as grocery stores or any overly crowded area to avoid all risks of infection. Your contribution is for all medical and related costs. I am currently on a transplant list at Cooperman St Barnabas in Livingston and just became active, but as we know the minimum wait time in New Jersey is 5 1/2 years. I'm in search of a living donor and spreading the word hoping to achieve my goal of finding a match. I am O positive blood type and can receive from only another blood type O. So I am reaching out in hopes and with a prayer of your help and financial blessings during these trying times. I know God can and will heal. I believe nothing is bigger than the God we serve and again I thank you for your time and help.
