Aria's medical bills
Aria is the beautiful baby girl just born on February 8th, 2018 to my very dear friends Julia and Matt Faler. As you can see, this beautiful baby girl had to start life fighting. All three of them need our help!
Aria was born having trouble breathing, not very active, and with broken clavicles. She has been fighting since she got here.
I'm happy to report with every day that goes by she is getting a little bit stronger. She has since been removed from the CPAP machine, and now oxygen. They believe her breathing struggles are from the pain of the broken clavicles. The first night after she was born, she had a seizure and the doctors were unable to figure out why. Ultrasound and MRI showed there was no bleeding on her brain (thank god).
While she continues to progress, her parents are going to have the financial burden of the hospital bills and care costs. Matt will be forced to take time off without pay in order to stay with his daughter. I am asking anyone who can help, even if it is just 1 dollar...please donate what you can to help this family pay for their hospital bills and financial help for the time taken off work without pay.
To give you an idea of the type of people Matt and Julia are, I couldn't begin to describe in words (but I will try). I've known Julia for 22 years, we went to middle school together, high school, then college at Western Oregon University. Julia is the type of person who is always there for you, whether you need a good laugh, someone to talk to, or a shoulder to cry on...she is ALWAYS there. I didn't get the chance to really know Matt until Julia and him started dating about 9 years ago. I met Matt at the art fair when he was walking around with Julia and I got the same impression. A kind, caring person, willing to help anyone who appreciates and loves life. These two beautiful souls would do anything in their power to help others. That's why I am asking for your help, in their time of need.
We will post updates of Aria as they are received to keep you updated on her progress. Thoughts and prayers are always welcome and appreciated.
