She is strong, she is tough, and she happens to have scoliosis.
My niece, Ariana, was diagnosed with Scoliosis in 2017 when she was just 9 years old. With no success at straightening her spine despite years in a back brace, her spine is now at a 68 degree curvature. Her doctor has now recommended she undergo Spinal Fusion surgery in June of this year. She has only gone through the MRI phase and with the big surgery a couple short months away, my sister and brother in law are already being hit with bills.
I opened this GoFundMe to try to relieve my sister and brother in law as best we possibly can of the funds they will indeed be facing during these next few months approaching and after Ariana's surgery. If we can raise enough to lighten the financial burden, they can focus on Ariana's needs; both physically and emotionally.
With such an immense but greatly necessary surgery, any amount that anyone can donate will not only be so greatly appreciated but it will go to a great cause and possibly bring awareness as June is Scoliosis Awareness Month!
About Ariana:
Ariana, is the sweetest and sassiest little 12 year old rock star I know. Not only did she wear her back brace with such grace, she gleams with positivity! She never feels bad for herself about having scoliosis; she has accepted it. But of course with such a serious surgery coming her way it WILL take a toll on her in many ways physically and emotionally. She has displayed nothing but perseverance throughout her scoliosis journey and there is not an ounce of doubt that she will pull through with a brave heart.
Any monetary donation as well as thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
Thank You All <3
