Hello, my name is Ariana and I'm 35 weeks pregnant. Baby EJ will be born early on Saturday, 9/10, at 8am via C-Section due to health problems and pregnancy complications. I've had to endure 2 blood transfusions recently (last week), and I'm experiencing bleeding from Placenta Previa. This has been such a traumatic experience in so many ways. I need financial help and support to afford temporary shelter at a weekly hotel until our living situation is sorted out through a government assistance program called CHAPS. The home that I currently reside at is pending utility assistance through this program, and is currently not suitable to bring my newborn baby home. On top of this situation, my boyfriend lost his job due to COVID-19, where we both tested positive and his job fired him for taking too many days off of work. Unfortunately, he did not qualify for Covid pay being that he was employed through a temp agency (according to the agency). So, we have been financially stressed for the past couple of months. My mom and family have provided assistance, however, that was limited due to my mom's car accident on 8/29 in which she and my younger brother, King, sustained serious injuries causing a temporary leave of absence from her job. We reserved a 3 week stay at a weekly hotel that is requiring $1800 at move-in. I'm in need of an extra $200 to cover food and more baby essentials.
