On September 9, my sister was in a car accident that began a difficult medical journey for her and her family. What began as tingling and numbness in her arm and leg quickly escalated into frightening, unexplained episodes. While picking up a prescription days later, she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, nearly unconscious.
Since then, she has endured multiple TIAs and has now lost movement on the left side of her body. She is experiencing worsening nerve pain and neurological deficits with her speech and hands. Doctors are still working with multiple specialists to pinpoint the source of her condition. Because of this, there is no firm timeline yet for hospitalization, but we do know she will need intensive rehabilitation to regain independence and return to normalcy.
She is a single mother to her 8-year-old son, my nephew, Jameson. If you know Ariana, you know that Jameson is the light of her life and her greatest motivation to keep fighting. Unfortunately, she has been unable to work during this time, leaving her without any cashflow or benefits. Combined with mounting medical bills and the reality of not being able to provide for her child while she recovers, the financial burden has become overwhelming.
We are hoping to raise $15,000 to help cover her medical expenses and ensure her son is cared for during this challenging time. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference in giving her the chance to heal and focus on her recovery without the added stress of financial hardship.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with your network. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean more than words can express.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting my sister and her son.
